THE HAGUE—Retired pharmacy worker Hilda de Bruen enjoyed every part of the Shen Yun Chinese Spectacular in the Netherlands on Tuesday.

"Yes it was beautiful, it was really, really lovely. I've been in China, some months ago, so it was very interesting to see the same music and the same performances we have seen. Beautiful!" she said.

"I love the music, the music is so perfect. And I liked everything. The people and the harmony, their faces, that's perfect. I liked it. It's very interesting. I liked the way of life in China.

"You see it how they perform it. You can see everything how it is. The feelings and … the feelings of the people [that] were performing," she said.

She thought the traditional Chinese cultural performances were very interesting.

"Yes, yes. That was very interesting. I saw it back in the performance. I saw the culture in the performance," she said.

She learnt about the show from a woman who was her tour guide in China. "She said we have to come because it's so beautiful," she said.
