THE HAGUE—Doctor's assistant Hanneke Lora from Drutten really enjoyed the Chinese Spectacular on Tuesday.

"Actually I can express myself in all kinds of superlatives. It's wonderful…the beauty…the harmony…the dance…awesome. I immensely enjoyed the show," she said.

"I just told my husband that my favourite act was the Mongolian [Bowl Dance] girls—the harmony."

"I will tell all the people at my work that it's fantastic," she said.

Retired electrician De Bloos from Delft found it difficult to pick a favorite performance.

"I think it's brilliant. There are two acts that are my favourites: One was the ladies with the moving waves [Water Fairies], and the last part with the drums [Victory Drums]—then, I felt like a small boy again," he said.

Receptionist Ineke Hartintfelt from Schiphol enjoyed all of the acts from the New York-based performers.

She said the show was "very beautiful, colourful," and had "a lot of variation."

"Actually because it's so varied it stays captivating. The colours and the dancing are very fluid."

Performed by Divine Performing Arts on Tour, the Shen Yun Chinese Spectacular will play one more show in The Hague before continuing on to London. For other shows in the Divine Performing Arts world tour, please visit: www.shenyun.eu
