THE HAGUE, Netherlands—"Visually stunning and spiritually inspiring. It's so beautiful," said Mandy, who works as an interpreter and translator. "I'm really touched. I'm so proud to be a Chinese. It shows real Chinese culture and tradition, and that's what I'm trying to show my husband, to learn the real China—not contaminated by Chinese communism."

Mandy is from China, but has lived in the Netherlands for 18 years. She is married to Thomas, a Netherlands native who works as an IT project leader. Thomas said, "I totally agree with her, and I loved the music as well. It was really impressive and lovely to see."

'Where Do You Get All the Talent?'

Mandy said she was struck by the orchestra, the dancers, and the scale and size of the group. "I was wondering, where do you get all the talent?"

When told many in the Divine Performing Arts company are overseas Chinese who are trained by Chinese dance and music teachers in America, she remarked, "Are they trained in America? Amazing."

She concluded that the show must be recommended to "people who want to know about China and Chinese culture."

"Yes, yes really. I want to teach our children more about Chinese culture."

Performed by Divine Performing Arts on Tour, the Shen Yun Chinese Spectacular will play one more show in The Hague before continuing on to London. For other shows in the Divine Performing Arts world tour, please visit: www.shenyun.eu
