THE HAGUE, Netherlands—The Shen Yun Chinese Spectacular opened at the World Forum Theater in The Hague on Feb. 19, and Ruth Van Didenhoven, its manager, was on hand to see the show for his first time.
"I must say, it was a very good show. It gave quite an impression of...Chinese culture, and it was the perfect combination—fusing technical skill with culture. [The] video in the background, and all the flying things on it, was perfect—a good combination with the orchestra and the performers on stage," Ms. Didenhoven said.
A specialist in theater, Ms. Didenhoven added, "I think this show was very good, and the sound was good. You had a lot of applause—people were really enjoying this evening."
"The complete show is very good—it's nice to see, it's nice to hear, and I wish [them] very good luck and success for the rest of the tour."
