OSAKA, Japan—After the curtains in NHK Osaka Hall descended slowly during a thunderous applause for the conclusion of Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular on Feb. 19, Mr. and Mrs. Miyamoto were not eager to join the crowd leaving the theater. They instead sat in their seats filling in the audience survey of the show. When asked, they happily accepted the Epoch Times invitation for a brief interview.

The couple came from Kumamoto Prefecture in southern Japan. After learning about the show from a friend, they decided to take the 4.5-hour bus ride to Osaka to watch it.

When asked how he liked the show, Mr. Miyamoto excitedly poured out his admiration. "Divine Performing Arts Spectacular is truly worthy of its name! Every segment was so dazzling and so colorful that I couldn't take my eyes off the stage. I didn't even have time to think because the beautiful scenes fully occupied my eyes. The ways the dancers moved their hands and wrists were so elegant!"

"The 2.5 hours felt like just a moment. I was so carried away by the beauty of the show that I could hardly bear to see it ending," said Mr. Miyamoto with a big smile.

He said he liked every segment equally well, so well that he couldn't find the words to describe them. But he said the "Mongolian Chopstick Dance" might have impressed him most because it was the first time that he realized ancient Mongolians also used chopsticks.

"The singers are great, too!" he exclaimed. "I could perfectly understand the songs, especially with the help of the subtitles on the backdrop."

"And the Chinese drums!" added Mrs. Miyamoto. "The drums were so spirited and so exhilarating! The actresses are so beautiful. Their hands and bodies are so soft."

The couple said they already look forward to the return of Divine Performing Arts for next year's tour.
