TOKYO—Japanese Writer, Mr. Matsui, watched all three shows of the Divine Performing Arts Spectacular in Tokyo, Japan from February 12th to the 15th. After the final show Mr. Matsui said, “Each show is fantastic, I can only describe each show as truly excellent.”
Mr. Matsui said the recent toxic Chinese dumplings incident undermined the image of China in Japan, but he changed his view on China after watching the Divine Performaning Arts Chinese Spectacular.
“There is more than one kind of person in China. For people working on such an excellent undertaking ( The Chinese Spectacular ), they should be lit by the spotlight as well,” he said, “Things like the persecution of Falun Gong and many other things happening in China are not covered in the Japanese media. Such news should be reported.”
Mr. Matsui appreciated the moral principals displayed in the Chinese Spectacular describing how they help to purify one’s mind. “If people watch such shows often, they will carry on a more decent life and will not do bad deeds.”
Mr. Matsui also noticed the shows were not put on by people from mainland China; rather it is Chinese from overseas who have rediscovered and carried on China’s traditional culture. “This is the common heritage shared by humankind, I hope overseas Chinese can continue to preserve China’s traditional culture,” he said.
Mr. Matsui especially loved the several dances displaying heavenly realms, “The performers not only have a very high degree of technical mastery, but what touches me even more is something from their inner self,” he deeply realized after the show, “Morality, belief, freedom and responsibility are very important to human kind.”
Mr. Matsui’s final comment after watching all of the shows was, “I feel very fulfilled from inside, and will not be afraid even if I die.” For information about upcoming Divine Performing Arts shows, please visit: www.DivinePerformingArts.org .
