Flamenco dancer, Junko Shimokado, came to the Spectacular because of her love for China. "I love China. In fact, I'm going to Shanghai next month for three days."

"I really like the classic tale of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms. That book contains many classic proverbs that were passed onto Japan which we still use today. The Spectacular also had interesting folk tales that I never knew about. I'd like to study them, I'm very interested."

Ms. Hisae greatly appreciated the MC's of the show, "The MC's gave small descriptions of each performance in Japanese which helped me to understand, I thought this was very good."

In regards to the dancing she said that, "Everyone's smile, hand positions and body movement, were just so beautiful. I was moved. I do flamenco dancing and I know that hand movements convey different meanings. If I had study more about classical Chinese dance and culture before seeing the show, I think I would have enjoyed it that much more."
