OSAKA—The Chinese Spectacular played its first show in Osaka, Japan at the NHK Osaka Hall on Tuesday.
In attendance was Hiroshi Miyake, a current Osaka Yao city council member, CIPFG (Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong) member, and board member of a NPO which investigates kidnapping cases of Japanese citizens by the North Korean regime.
He enjoyed the show both for its inner beauty and for it's portrayal of the Chinese communist regime's "unscrupulous" nature.
"The Spectacular was fabulous. It has high techniques but what stood out for me were the inner values of China's rich culture."
Mr. Miyake came to understand the difference between the real beauty of China and the Chinese Communist regime's suppression of it.
"I saw the essence of China under the control of the Chinese communist regime in 'Risen Lotus Flower.' That unscrupulous political regime is downright evil, and they continue to rule China. The actual condition was conveyed really well, I came to understand that regime's true nature. Even if the regime tries to copy the Spectacular and all of its performances, it could never display such truth, purity, and beauty, because it inherently lacks such qualities."
As an active human rights defender, Mr. Miyake also commented that he hoped Japan could take a more active role in contributing to issues in Asia.
Osaka is the third and final city in Japan the Chinese Spectacular will show before moving to Seoul, South Korea.
