FRANKFURT—"It’s a fantastic event," said Janette Toget, after watching the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular at Frankfurt's Jahrhunderthalle (Century Hall) on Sunday afternoon.
Janette Toget, from Hanau, Germany, came to see the show after receiving an email about it through her work. Janette works in the China department of an environmental technology firm, and often takes care of Chinese clients visiting Europe.
Janette said, "I’m amazed about the dancers, the singers and how they produce this event. It’s fantastic. I liked the colors and the style, and how they all are making this fantastic.” Her favorite part was “the drummers at the end, they are fantastic.”
“It’s a very nice show," she concluded, "it’s very interesting and the extras are very fantastic."
Also attending the show, Meilitta Roth, is a secretary of a Swiss company and her sister, Rosemarie Roth is a fitness consultant. They came all the way from Sulgen, Switzerland, to watch the Chinese Spectacular in Frankfurt on Sunday.
Meilitta, “It is a very good show. I love Chinese traditional culture and the artists have done a very good job in embodying the traditional Chinese culture through dances, music, scenery and costumes. Their dancing movements are light and graceful- I am very impressed.
This is the first time I have watched a show such as this and is very different from what we are used to. Overall, I can feel the the compassion and beauty of the performance heart.”
"We have taken a telescope with us, so we could see the expressions on their faces. The show is wonderful.”
