FRANKFURT—Patricia Hadid came from Darmstadt, Germany, about 25 miles away from Frankfurt, to see the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular show at the Century Hall (Jahrhunderthalle) theater Sunday evening.
"It is a wonderful show," said Ms. Hadid, who works in a pharmacy. "I am very surprised. It is more than I expected. Very beautiful." She said she was able to learn more about traditional Chinese culture.
She said one act was particularly moving to her. "It goes to my heart, you know. Big emotion for me."
Ms. Hadid learned of the show by invitation. "My girlfriend read a newspaper and sent a postcard," she said. "She invited me to come with her to see the show."
