NAGOYA, Japan—A Japanese environmental activist, Kitou Toshio, and his wife were interviewed by The Epoch Times during the intermission of the opening show for the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular in Nagoya, Japan, on Feb. 17.
"The show is great," said Mr. Kitou when asked about his favorite programs. He said he liked those ladies' dances the most and that the dances were very beautiful.
"The performance showed us the real China of today. The 'Risen Lotus' program is very good, very touching," said Mr. Kitou.
Mr. Kitou said knew that Falun Gong is persecuted in China. A couple years ago, he'd seen a Falun Gong performance at the "World Expo Aichi, Japan."
He said everyone did a great job with the show and hoped the performers would be even better in the future. Mrs. Kitou also praised the show.
"So beautiful, so beautiful!" he continued. "The costumes are gorgeous, movements are delicate and beautiful. The background is also very beautiful. The stories of the dances are easy to understand without any words. It's outstanding. "
