TOKYO-After watching the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular in Tokyo, Nakajyo Takanori, former Vice President and CEO of Asahi Breweries, LTD., highly commended the show, describing it as very spiritual and with significant cultural impact.
Nakajyo Takanori, who is over 80 years old, is now the Honorary Advisor of Asahi Breweries, one of the largest beer breweries in Japan. On February 15 he and Mrs. Nakajyo came to see the performance. During the intermission, he told the Epoch Times reporter that the show was far beyond his imagination.
Director of the Japan International Youth and Culture Association, Nakajyo is particularly interested in the cultural impact of the show. "Today's show is rich in spiritual elements," he said. "This is what I call real culture."
He continued to say that the Communist Party has been denying and ruining such cultures. "When the Communist regime came into power in Russia in the 1917 revolution, Russia's traditional culture was devastated," he said. "It was only after the Warsaw Pact dissolved in 1991 that the traditional culture started to revive in Russia and other involved European countries."
Nakajyo believes the Divine Performing Arts will bring about a significant change to the world: the revival of the true Chinese culture. He said he admired Chinese culture because "Japan's culture and religion came from China."
"I believe a new age is coming soon," said Nakajyo.
