On Wednesday evening, Obara Sheiko journeyed to Tokyo with more than a dozen friends to see Divine Performing Arts' Chinese Spectacular on the recommendation of her overseas daughter.
We spoke with an excited Ms. Sheiko after the performance. She said, "The performance shook my soul from the beginning to the end. Those who didn't come don't know that someday they will realize that not seeing this show is the biggest loss in their lives."
Shieko found out about the Chinese Spectacular both from her daughter in the United States and from a flyer she received on the street. She felt that because the flyer was very beautiful and inspired very pleasant feelings that it was surely different from other materials handed out.
"Your souls are reflected on this flyer. I know this performance is extraordinary," she said.
"I persuaded my friends, over a dozen of them to see the show. The entire performance shook my soul from the beginning to the end. This kind of move is difficult to describe with language."
"I dare to say, as long as one is still human, one will be moved by this performance. It is coming from of somewhere deep in performers' souls."
Her favorite program was 'Rising Lotus.' She said, "Those who fight for the righteous are truly outstanding. I respect them from my heart. Falun Gong practitioners follow the will of gods, which is why the angels are with every one of them."
Sheiko, who also rescues North Korean refugees in her daily life was also deeply moved by the overall message of the Chinese Spectacular. She said, "The most important thing in the world is to support the righteous. The lyrics sung by those singers are very important . I kept reading the lyrics on the backdrop, and I was deeply touched. What the lyrics expressed is very true."
