Erika Umeoka, an office worker in Tokyo, came to the Spectacular on February 15th, on recommendation of her friend.

"I found the Spectacular to be so special. The dancers, singers and musicians are very well-trained and the costumes are very beautiful. I like the way the dancers use their fan in "Nymphs of the sea". It's like I can experience the sea on the stage."

She enjoyed songs and instrumental played on Spectacular. "I'm happy they put the translation of song's lyrics into Japanese, as I can understand the meaning of each words. It was very deep." For the instrument, she was especially stunned by the performance of "Predestined Relationship" Erhu performance by Mei Xuan. "This is the first time I heard about ErHu and see the live performance. She is really talented."

Erika also said, this is the first time she saw the performance like this. "I don't have much chance to see any Chinese-related show nor traditional-culture based performance like this, especially in Japan." She added that Spectacular is very unique in the way they bring diversity in the show. "Songs, dances, and musical instruments are brought together in one pack" She added: "It was worthwhile to come."
