DUISBURG, Germany—Divine Performing Arts made its 2008 European debut of the Chinese Spectacular Wednesday night in Duisburg, Germany.

After the show concluded, many audience members were seen lingering outside of the Theater am Marientor. Many people were excitedly talking with each other in small groups, and others were standing by themselves, thoughtful.

Among the people savoring their experience in the lobby after the show was an elderly woman. When asked whether she wanted to comment about the show, she answered briefly: "I am 80 years old—that I am able to experience something like this!"

Maria Nicolopoulous, a social pedagogue from Düsseldorf, was amazed by the drum dances in the show, which she said were "utterly" touching.

Jacqueline Dzeyk, a high school graduate from Bochum, found the show "very interesting" and would recommend it. "I liked the costumes very much, also the acrobatics and the swiftness."

She was accompanied by her mother, who said: "It is worth watching. I have never seen a show like this one. It is the first time that I have seen something of that nature. I liked the 'Drummers of the Tang Court' and the 'Mongolian Bowl Dance' a lot."
