TOKYO—The Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular made the first stop on its Asian tour in Tokyo, Japan at the Kousei Nenkin Kaikan Big Hall on Tuesday evening. The audience was captivated by the show's portrayal of true Chinese culture.

Masayo Isoyama, who attended the Spectacular with her husband, said the show was "simply beautiful and fabulous."

Isoyama especially enjoyed the drumming in the "Drummers of the Tang Court" and "Victory Drums." She was moved by the pure beauty expressed in each dance and her husband said he was touched by the high-caliber singers.

Her favorite program was "Forsythia in Spring."

At the end of each performance, the audience applauded enthusiastically in appreciation of the magnificent ancient Chinese culture that influenced the traditions of Japan over 1,200 years ago during the Tang Dynasty.

The Chinese Spectacular continues in Tokyo on Wednesday, February 13th, and Friday February 15th. For other shows in the Divine Performing Arts world tour, please visit: www.divineperformingarts.org
