NEW YORK—The Divine Performing Arts' Chinese New Year Splendor , currently playing a 15-show run at New York's Radio City Music Hall, continues to entertain and enchant many audience members.

Barry Mchan, in sales with Cisco International, and Valentina Alexess, a former ballerina with the Moscow Ballet Company were among those who loved the show.

"I'm very truthful and I'm very critical, and even before the show I tell Barry that I hope that I like it because I'm very critical and I'm very hard to please," said Alexess.

"But this thing, I am shocked, I am just completely shocked — but shocked in a fabulous way. It amazed me." The Divine Performing Arts says that in its productions it strives to revive the authentic traditional arts and culture of China in which moral values and spiritual pursuits are highly emphasized. "A couple of things from my perspective, one is their dance form is very unique and very entertaining. I think the multimedia part of the program, the choreography is phenomenal," said Alexess.

"Now I want to go to China—I'm impressed with the Chinese culture, it's well done," she added.

Overall, Alexess gave the Chinese New Year Splendor a top notch review.

"It's very impressive, it's well done. I think it's the best show that I ever saw—the best. Even the background, the dancing, the choreography and the music, the singing—everything."

When asked if they would return, they enthusiastically responded, "Without question!"

"I wish them the best, very, very luck," said Alexess. "I hope that lots of people see. I will recommend to my two daughters to see, I will tell to lots of my friends this amazing thing. I glad that I came, I wanted to see this for two years, and now I have a chance to see this and I am very, very lucky to see this amazing and fabulous performance, and I couldn't have imagined it would be like this."

The Chinese New Year Splendor continues in New York through Saturday, Feb. 9.
