David Bernstein, a composer from Oregon, watched the Chinese New Year Spectacular in Cobb Energy Performance Arts Centre, Atlanta on January 5. During the intermission, he already started to check the show schedule in other cities, in order to get his wife in Oregon to watch it.

As a musician,David said, "It was fantastic, the most enjoyable show I have seen all year. I thought the philosophy was very rewarding toward the betterment of your life."

"The dancing is exquisite and the costumes were very attractive. The drums, for someone like me who has written for percussion instruments, I have a great deal of appreciation for the synchronicity of what they do with the dancing. So I imagine the second half is going to be just as attractive, probably in a different way than the first half. So I am quite pleased, quite pleased."

Elizabeth Rabincen is a consultant. She said she liked the first program most.

"The show, the costumes are extraordinary, and the way they dance, I've never seen anything like it. And I'm from South America and I love it. You should take it over there to Venezuela. We all like the drummers, I think they are fantastic, and I like the beginning with the sky—beautiful, the whole thing is beautiful."

Jessica Greenstein is the granddaughter of Elizebeth Rabicen and a high school student. She said, "I agree with my grandmother. I like the whole thing. I like the drummers and the story about the nine suns the best, those are my favorite."

IT System Analyst Jason Gaul, especially liked the drum performance. He told Epoch Times during the mid-show break, "Its very good so far. I especially like the drummers, the drummer guys, very colorful—the drummers and the singers, and the dancing is good, too. You know the costumes and the back drops are interesting . I'd recommend it, it's a lot of fun."

Sales manager Rich Bean likes the last act, and his wife liked the first act—"Descent of the Celestial Kings." He said "It's very nice. It is my first time actually coming to this performance, and it is very visually appealing and my wife and I enjoyed it very much.

"I have to say I liked the last performance the drummers. She (his wife) was actually very, very emotionally impressed with the opening performance as well. Yes you know I wasn't aware of the Mongolian tea dance, some of the spiritual principles expressed in the dance as well."
