ORLANDO—Former New York Mayor and Republican presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani, currently touring the Sunshine State in an all-out effort to earn a primary win, addressed an excited crowd at the "Women for Rudy" rally at the Rosen Center in Orlando, Florida, Saturday January 26.

Subtitled "An Evening with America's Mayor," the rally gave Mr. Giuliani a chance to expound on every facet of his campaign platform. He paid particular attention to tax reform, and also his views on global trade.

"We should take advantage of the global economy," he told his supporters, adding that, "by trading with each other we can understand one another."

Mr. Giuliani also addressed the young people in the audience, urging them to "Think big!"

California Congressperson Mary Bono Mack, wife of Florida Congressman Connie Mack IV, spoke in support of the Giuliani campaign, saying, "I believe he can move the Republican agenda."

Other celebrities supporting Mr. Giuliani included actor Jon Voight, and Curtis Silwa, founder of the non-profit, international, all-volunteer anti-crime patrol organization The Guardian Angels.

Silwa formed the first chapter of the Guardian Angles in New York City to combat crime on the subways and streets, and Giuliani, in his stint as New York District Attorney, dedicated himself to making the streets of New York City safer.

After the rally, Mr. Giuliani attended a dinner sponsored by the Orange County Republican Executive Committee.

Mr. Giuliani has opted to focus all of his resources on a successful showing in Florida, perhaps because the state is home to a large number of former New York residents. He has consistently finished well behind Republican front-runners John McCain, Mitt Romney, and Mike Huckabee.
