SAN FRANCISCO—Bill Duarte, is an administrator from Santa Rosa and also likes kick boxing. He and his wife Morgan, an account executive, were dazzled by Divine Performing Arts Chinese New Year Spectacular and told us they very happy they came to see the show this Saturday, Jan. 26 at the Orpheum Theater.
Mr. Duarte said: "Very impressive show! The coordination of the movements and the choreography was just amazing! Mr. Duarte also praised the professionalism and the preparation of all the aspects of the show.
"Oh, it was amazing, really wonderful! I wanted to get up and dance!" said Mrs. Duarte, echoing the impressions of her husband. "Everything was so beautiful! The colors and the color combination were just amazing, the dance, the choreography! Everything so well coordinated!"
Because of their passion for kick boxing and aerobics, the couple has a deep appreciation of dance.
They understand all the training, hard work and consistency required to control body movements like this and to make them look effortless. They also admired the softness of the female dancers and the masculinity of the male dancers. They could also tell that the performers strived to deliver the best performance.
"We saw other shows, but nothing like this. We will come when the show comes back again. We will tell our friends," added Mrs. Duarte.
After seven successful showings of the Chinese New Year Spectacular in San Francisco, the Divine Performing Arts groups now travels to New York where they can be seen at Radio City Music Hall for 15 performances starting on Jan. 30.
