Chicago's final performance of the Divine Performance Arts Chinese New Year Spectacular, moved the hearts of the audience by the pure beauty of the show.
"It was such a wonderful and uplifting experience." said David Chasteen, a retired Baptist Minister from Columbus, Ohio. "It was very refreshing to see such a positive and powerful message being shown like this, I enjoyed every minute of it."
David's favorite part was with the people in plain street clothes standing up for what they believe in. "It was incredible and very effective."
David's wife Pat who works for an insurance company, said she was "amazed by the wonderful contrasts of colors, I wasn't expecting anything this elaborate."
As stunning as the shows visual performance, the music sets the tone with the traditional sounds of Chinese heritage, "I loved the piano solo, just simply amazing," Pat commented.
Traveling from such a long distance the couple explained that their son knew of the show and suggested that they go while they were in town.
Pat went on to say "It was not only a very high level entertaining performance, but it really made you think about what the message truly meant to you."
By the end of its tour, the Divine Performing Arts shows will have played to a live audience of 650,000 in over 60 cities and 14 countries.
