SAN FRANCISCO—This is the second time that Jill Horne, a resident of Oakland, CA, watched the Chinese New Year Spectacular .
"I am thrilled," she said, "this year the performance is much better. This time you can feel the Divine essence."
"You can feel the cooperation of Heaven and earth working together, bringing forth our true nature, making it a reality," she added.
Horne has been working at the front desk of St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco for 25 years.
"But actually I am an artist, a costume designer and a performer in theatrical productions at Mount Shasta, CA."
When asked about her favorite role, she replied that it was a historic Mrs. Franklin. She said that "when acting is not based on your ego, the Divine starts coming through each of us to bring up a perfection and divine beauty, which have to be in us… but are missing now."
As an artist, Horne was so impressed "with the beauty and majesty of the Spectacular ."
Recently, at the Whole Life Expo in San Francisco, Horne set up three booths to show her artwork, which she calls "energy drawings" since she strongly feels "the cosmic energy coming through."
"In my artwork, I'm trying to illustrate the prayers I am using, to bring the prayer in a visual form," says Horne.
"One of my drawings has a wheel and a cosmic being speaking to humans about their having a potential to transform a life into its true essence…"
"Because we are all divine beings," she added.
Horne especially liked a fragment of the show named "The Lady of the Moon." She commented: "While trying to get to the truth of your being, you deal with duality, which is very strong."
She continued on sharing her impressions: "The words on the screen, while the baritone was singing, were so important for people to give them hope, to help them realize that there is this transition coming from Heaven, the inner essence of love coming from heaven, and whoever is receptive to it, will see his life transformed."
"I loved the performance 'The Fruits of Goodness' which tells a story about two hipsters dressed in the style of the day. It was fascinating to watch the interaction between the two boys and the cosmic beings and how they were transformed as a result, how their goodness was awakened.
"The Chinese New Year Spectacular performances are showing that those divine beings are waiting for us to acknowledge their presence. More than that, they are trying to bring our attention to how they are pouring their love through our planet and each one of us.
