Twin City Dancers Enjoy 'Spectacular' Dancing

MINNEAPOLIS—A group of 15 people from the Twin Cities Chinese Theater, a dance studio in Minneapolis, came to Minneapolis's Northrop Theater to see The Chinese New Year Spectacular's one-night run.

Shasha Szutu, a Software Developer, is a member of the dance studio. She said, "I think it was a very good. The dancing is excellent. I would see it again next year."

Kuang-Yu Chen, 62, was also came part of the group from the dance studio. Kuang-Yu said, "Everyone is so good. We learned some of the dance steps at the studio, and we were really impressed with what we saw."

Other audience members were also impressed.

"It is different, and quite entertaining," said Bill Cassen, a Minnesota realtor.

"It was delightful listening to the songs and reading the words to the music so I could understand the meaning," said, Bob Bohrer, meteorologist. "I hope to bring my wife next time."

"The swan dance was very elegant," said Ana Whalen, relocation specialist and first generation Chinese.

"This show is especially good for people overseas so they can see such high quality performances. It is a wonderful show. Very touching," said Wen Chieh, a scientist.
