LAS VEGAS—After three days at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, the Chinese New Year Spectacular came to the Las Vegas Hilton Theatre tonight for its only Las Vegas performance on a worldwide tour.
Las Vegas photographer and publisher Lindsay Hebberd attended the VIP reception in addition to the show. Hebberd has written many books and recently published one called, 'Las Vegas: Imagination to Reality.'
She has toured all over the world, including China, and spent 14 years in India - loving Asian culture so much. In China, she photographed the Beijing Opera and the South Chinese Opera.
"My favorite instrument in the world is the erhu," she said. "It looks like a child's toy, but it has the most amazing sound, and the greatest tonality in the world."
The erhu is one of the classical Chinese instruments featured in the Spectacular .
Her preference of instruments to vocals comes from her admiration for the tonality an instrument can perform.

Hebberd's appreciation extends to classical Chinese dance: "I also love the long-sleeve dancing," she said, "It's so elegant."
John Earhart, a travel agent in Las Vegas, also attended and brought 15 clients.
"I watched the shows in Los Angeles and New York," he said.
Earhart continued: "I like the attachment to the history that was portrayed in various segments. The costumes were beautiful. The girls were very, very beautiful. The show is stunning, beautiful, and peaceful. It's a very relaxing type of show."
"I brought 15 clients of mine tonight!" he exclaimed.
