LOS ANGELES─Theatre-goers at the new Nokia L.A. Live in downtown Los Angeles were treated to an extravaganza of Chinese cultural entertainment at the opening night performance of the Chinese New Year Spectacular on Friday, Jan. 18.

Two jovial sisters, Allison and Ginger Plum, were asked about their reactions to the show.

Allison, a flight attendant, said "It was heartbreaking and breathtaking at the same time." Maybe I was Chinese in a past lifetime because it touches me so".

Ginger, an artist working in pastels, sculptures and stained glass, said "It was magical!"

Neither could say that any one part of the show was their favorite, although they thought they were all good.

There are three more Divine Performing Arts shows at Nokia Theater LA Live, two on Saturday Jan. 19 and one on Sunday, Jan. 20.

The Chinese Spectacular shows will appear next in Las Vegas on Jan. 21 and then at San Francisco's Orpheum Theater for seven shows starting on Jan. 23 at 2:00 p.m.

The Epoch Times is a proud sponsor of the Divine Performing Arts shows that will perform in over 60 cities worldwide in 2008. To find a show near you, please visit www.bestchineseshows.com.
