PHOENIX—"It was worth coming today!" Mr. Li Linhlin told The Epoch Times after watching the Chinese New Year Spectacular at the Dodge Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona on January 14.

The show was brought to Phoenix by the Divine Performing Arts of New York, a company that strives to exhibit the essence of Chinese art and culture from China's 5,000 year history.

"Every performance is excellent, and I like them all," Li said. "I am so glad that Divine Performing Arts brought us such a splendid show for its first visit to Phoenix."

Li believes the show is an excellent way to spread traditional Chinese culture, famous Chinese characters, such as general Yue Fei, and the history of Tang Dynasty, which are all vividly exhibited on the stage.

He believes it also provides a good education about Chinese history and culture for students and their families.

"I will definitely recommend the show to all the students and their parents in my school, and I have already seen many of my students and their parents here. It is such a good way to spread the beauty of Chinese culture!" Li said.

Ms Qiu Wenqi, editor of Asia World magazine in Arizona, praised the show saying "All the programs are excellent; all the dances are beautiful! The drummers of the Tang Court were particularly majestic."

Qiu also praised the arrangement of colors, the music, and the choreography, which she said all perfectly expressed the meaning of the performance.

The Epoch Times is a proud sponsor of the Divine Performing Arts shows that will perform in over 60 cities worldwide in 2008. To find a show near you, please visit www.bestchineseshows.com
