Since 2007, prices of consumer goods have been skyrocketing in mainland China. The price of daily necessities, especially food, has doubled in the run-up to the Lunar New Year and the Chinese currency Renminbi has depreciated significantly. Under the CCP's (Chinese Communist Party's) autocratic rule, inflation is growing with a snowball effect. The regime can't suppress the increasing price of commodities. On one hand, the communist regime denied that inflation is increasing, but on the other hand, it announced on TV that inflation was driven by the tremendous improvement in people's living standards. After being denounced for such statements on the Internet and in the public, the regime changed its rhetoric by declaring that inflation doesn't exist as the prices of some items, such as color televisions, mobile phones, etc. are still falling.
Party Officials Pay More for Prostitutes
At the end of 2007, on behalf of my department, I escorted some high level officials during their year-end inspection. After being splendidly wined and dined, the next step was for the male officials to go for entertainment with girls in a KTV bar, with female officials going for massages, foot washings, or to a beauty salon. After each man of the inspection team went into a VIP room with a girl, I spoke with a girl about 17 or 18 years old in the lobby. I asked her what the current price was for a man to stay overnight with her, and she said 400 Yuan ($55). Seeing my surprised look, she added, "It was 200 Yuan ($27.5) in the past. However, the price of commodities is soaring and we have expenses in food, clothing, and living. Of course, our prices are increasing accordingly. Since you are spending the state's money anyway, it will be 600 Yuan ($82.6) if an invoice is needed." I smiled and said, "You really move with the times!"
The girl said, "Sir, you are really kidding. Nowadays in this society, money is the boss. When I first came to this job, I felt ashamed about it, but now I feel proud. Those party officials still prostrate themselves before our beauty."
I said, "That is because in this communist society everything is reversed and twisted. Party officials are in pursuit of power and women. Which officials do not have mistresses?"
The girl laughed "To be honest with you, some party secretaries or commission inspectors would like me to be their mistress after staying overnight with me. I am considering it." Then a guest arrived, and the girl walked away with a knowing smile.
The next day, I dined with a friend who I had not met for years. When discussing the rising prices of prostitutes, he said, "Right now the price of everything is rising, and inflation is still ongoing this year. In my opinion, only one thing has depreciated to be worth nothing. Everyone condemns it and hates it."
I asked curiously what it is.
The friend said, "Look at what a society this has become. It is so difficult for us to make a living here. It is hard for out of work people to find food for living and the price of commodities still keeps soaring. The CCP officials are all corrupt, and the evil Party has messed up Chinese society like this. Who does not condemn it? The Party Secretary who was promoted by Zhou Yongkang [1] made lots of dirty money here and then was transferred to be the Party Secretary of other areas. Guess how much money that official made in launching development projects here for years? It was 200 million Yuan ($27.5 million) according to some insiders' calculations. How many laid-off people could be fed by this amount of corruption money?"
"You see that the Taiwan President's corrupt son-in-law was sentenced to six years in prison, with one more year added after an appeal. In China, a secretary of a county party committee, who had accepted more bribes than this, still advocates 'anti-corruption and clean-hand government' from his position. What kind of justice is this? People say that technology is very advanced now and nothing is missing except the people who can lead us in the revolts. Whoever revolts against the government, I will be the first one to follow."
I told my friend, "the China Interim Government [2] was established with the aim of dissolving the Chinese communist regime. Currently, the number of people who have made public announcements to quit the Communist Party and its affiliated organizations is over 31 million." My friend stared in amazement and said, "Where? I want to join too."
I said, "You don't have to rush. Now is the time of Heaven eliminating the CCP and you will have plenty of opportunities to do something in the future. After I get back home, I'll give you software to break through the internet firewall and then you can see a lot of information. Did you join the Communist Party before? Now quit the Communist Party first." After my friend inquired how to quit the CCP and had a clear understanding, he immediately promised to quit the party.
When we said goodbye to each other, he held my hand tightly and said, "Heaven eliminating the CCP is an irresistible general trend and a direction of public sentiment. I want to tell more people to quit the Chinese Communist Party."
Notes:
[1] Zhou Yongkang is one of the corrupt high-rank CCP officials. He is one of the key CCP officials in executing the persecution of Falun Gong. He currently serves as the 9th ranked member of the powerful Politburo Standing Committee, State Councilor, and the head of the Central Political and Legislative Committee, an organ specialized in legal crackdowns and political control.
