Falun Gong continue to hold demonstrations in Sydney this week in the hope APEC leaders will raise the gross human rights violations with China.
The week has been supported by the Canadian co-authors of the 'Bloody Harvest' - a report on the organ harvesting of Falun Gong in China.
Falun Gong practitioners from as far away as the US and Canada are in Sydney hoping APEC leaders will discuss the genocide against Falun Gong with Chinese President Hu Jintao.
President Hu arrived in Sydney on Wednesday, and held meetings with US President George Bush and Australian Prime Minister John Howard - but the APEC leaders have remained silent on the persecution of Falun Gong in China.
International human rights lawyer and coauthor of the 'Bloody Harvest', David Matas, said because of the severity of the allegations facing the communist party world leaders need to speak out now. He was speaking at a rally at Belmore Park on Friday.
"In China those who speak out against human rights violations are arrested, so if there is a voice speaking out against these violations it must come from outside China."
Beijing law professor Yuan Hongbing was also at the rally. He thanked the Falun Gong practitioners for the work they had done exposing the true nature of the communist regime.
"The CCP is a criminal organization that is anti humanity," he said.
At APEC For Her Father
Falun Gong practitioner Danielle Wang travelled from Texas to plea for her father at events coinciding with the APEC summit.
Chinese police dragged father, Zhiwen Wang, from his bed eight years ago on July 20, 1999.
He is still detained in China.
Falun Gong's final event during the APEC summit will be a candle light vigil at Victoria Park on Sunday from 4pm to 8pm.
