One Shanghai official quits the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) after reading the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. He said that the CCP has brought great disasters to the Chinese people and have twisted the Chinese society; he also believes that the CCP is using the 2008 Olympics to further deceive the Chinese people. Below is an excerpted statement made by this official as recorded by Sound of Hope radio.
I read through the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and found it well written. I was aware, in using an internet anti-blocking software, that there is a website promoting withdrawals from the CCP. I decided to withdraw. I think this is a perfectly righteous and normal thing to do. The communist regime was initially supported and developed by its affiliated organizations overseas. It has twisted the Chinese society and brought great disasters to the Chinese people. At present, the regime is built on erroneous political ideologies, and is persecuting the Chinese people, leaving them no freedom to lead their lives as they wish.
I believe that the Olympics will bring no meaningful changes to the Chinese people. Furthermore, the games are supported by the dictatorship at the expense of the entire nation. The Olympics are being used by the CCP as a tool to deceive Chinese people. Housing prices are rapidly rising, and people will find it harder to make ends meet. The Chinese economy, stock market, real estate as well as economic reform (that was initiated by former CCP leader Zhu Rongji) will bring disasters to the Chinese people, leading the Chinese society to the brink of collapse. I believe that through the Olympics, corrupt officials and sly merchants will accumulate enough wealth to last them several generations. This is the greatest sin to the Chinese nation.
The rampant corruption in mainland China is brought by an erroneous political regime built upon an erroneous ideology. It only believes in materialism; plus greed and one-party control—this has resulted in the CCP having unrestrained power. Corruption in mainland China is so far-reaching that it involves a fundamental deterioration of the entire country. No other country can reach this level of deterioration. The CCP's nature, as reflected in China's political and social environment, is the root cause of the total degradation of the entire Chinese nation.
