Surf and Rock Festival to Make a Splash in County Clare

Headline performers the Fun Lovin' Criminals, Ocean Colour Scene and The Blizzards are among the acts playing at the three day Cois Fharraige festival which starts on September the 7th in Kilkee, Co Clare.

The novel festival will include a two day 'invitation only' surf competition sponsored by Sony Ericsson offering up to ten thousand Euro in prizes. Forty eight surfers from around the world will be invited to participate at the event.

Each evening there will be headline pop and rock groups from Ireland and abroad.

Irish singer song writer Paddy Casey will be giving festival goers a preview of his album which will be released in September called 'Addicted to Company'.

Other acts playing over the three days include, Roisin Murphy, Majella Murphy, Paddy Casey, Republic of Loose, The Enemy, 28 Costumes, The Kinetiks, Badly Drawn Boy, Kila, Tom Baxter, Buffalo Souljah, and the Delorentos.

Tickets cost €29.50 for one day, a three day ticket is €69:50 (if purchased before August 18th or €84.50 after August 19th.)
