I am about to graduate from college. I once practiced Falun Gong when the practice was spreading rapidly across China. After Falun Gong was banned on July 20, 1999, however, due to the CCP's overwhelming propaganda slandering Falun Gong, I lost the opportunity to learn more about it. During my college years I had an opportunity to study in Japan and learn about Japanese culture. I noticed that, in comparison, Chinese people have rather lower moral standards.
Recently I was fortunate to meet a Falun Gong practitioner. We discussed at length the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong and the disastrous consequences the persecution has brought to the entire nation. I was appalled to listen to her personal stories. Her husband was persecuted to death for his belief in Falun Gong. I cannot imagine how she has faced the tyrannical regime with her thin body, and how she, a mother of a seven-year old son, has shouldered the burden of her entire family. As an intellectual with advanced education, she has been deprived of most of what she is entitled to in the material world due to the CCP's systematic persecution; yet she remains optimistic. The moral strength Falun Gong has brought to its practitioners commands my deepest respect.
I do not know how long the CCP will continue to deceive the Chinese people and cover up its crimes. Facing such an extremely unmerciful and criminal political regime, we, as Chinese citizens, have the rights to question its legitimacy. The CCP is the root cause of the suffering of our entire nation!
I declare to quit the evil CCP's affiliated organizations, the Communist Youth League and the Communist Young Pioneers. I want to follow the will of heaven and contribute my power in eliminating the CCP.
