FINLAND—On June 2, 2007, the Global Service Center in Finland for Quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), Epoch Times volunteers and Helsinki Falun Gong practitioners held an activity in downtown Helsinki to support the more than 22 million Chinese people's withdrawals from the CCP.
Banners with the following words lined up at the event site: "Heaven Will Eliminate the CCP," "Withdraw from the CCP to Save Yourself," "Support 22 Million Warriors Who Have Withdrawn from the CCP," "The Root of the CCP's Malevolent Spirit Has Been Pulled Out," "Strongly Condemn The CCP's Live Organ Harvest From Falun Gong Practitioners."
Pictures and a graphical analysis were also placed at the site showing how the CCP has persecuted its people during its political movements and how it currently is persecuting Falun Gong practitioners.
Ms. Jiang of The Epoch Times , said, "June 2 was graduation day for 89,000 high school students, so there were lots of pedestrians at the train station. Some people were carrying flowers and gifts and rushing to their relatives and friends' homes to bring congratulating greetings.
Many people stopped or slowed down when they saw our eye-catching banners. Some accepted leaflets or glanced at display panels, some started reading the leaflets and thinking about the meaning of the banners, some even directly walked to our table to sign their names to support the warriors who have quit the CCP and to condemn the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners."
An old woman from Finland told Ms. Jiang, "The Communist Party is very bad, people should have human rights. You are doing the right thing."
Ms. Jiang also said, "Many Chinese people are waking up since the publication of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party (The Nine Commentaries) . At present, there are about 30,000 to 40,000 people quitting from the Chinese Communist Party, the Communist Youth League of China and the Communist Young Pioneers every day. People living in mainland China are not so scared of the CCP anymore, many of them have started to use their real names to quit."
A Finnish man said that he likes China a lot but he does not like the Communist Party. He was very happy to accept The Nine Commentaries given to him an Epoch Times staff member.
When Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Chang handed out leaflets which expose the evil nature of the CCP to a Finnish man, he said: "I was so scared to read it when I was doing business in China, I felt like something intangible was watching me."
Ms. Chang said, "The more you are afraid, the more it shows that you need to read it; 22 million Chinese people have set a good example."
