The top-of-the-line Tahoe 4WD LT offers an exceptional list of rugged and refined features. Providing new standard features offers a smooth ride on all kinds of road surfaces was the primary goal of Chevrolet.

Below are some of the new features of the 2007 Tahoe full-size SUV with the 320 horsepower Vortec 5300 V8 engine with Active Fuel Management Technology.

• Ultrasonic Rear Parking Assistance.
• Factory-installed remote vehicle front to rear monochromatic appearance complements the chiseled exterior.
• A new power lift gate allows convenient access to the cavernous rear cargo area.
• Available power-articulating assist steps make Tahoe extra special.

The Chevy Tahoe is comfortable and roomy, with the front row center stage and every seat the best in the house.

Most of the vehicles I drive are of great quality, and fairly priced. Personal needs and interests often determine which vehicle consumers purchase. Like me, the Chevy Tahoe is serious about safety. Listed below are features accentuated by Tahoe that I liked.

• New Head-Curtain-Side-Air-Bags. These air bags cover all rows and are designed to inflate in the unlikely event of a rollover.
• New Ultrasonic Rear Parking Assists. The system provides audio and visual warnings as you approach certain stationary objects up to two and a half meters behind the vehicle while traveling in reverse at low speed.
• Rearview Camera System. It is positioned near the license plates and sees obstacles that are located behind the vehicle.
• Remote Vehicle Starter System. The system operates from 200 feet away. You can heat the interior of the cabin or turn on the air conditioner before you get in, as well as unlock the vehicle.
• Tire Pressure Monitor. This device is standard in all Tahoes, and monitors the tire inflation level in each of the four tires. Should there be a problem, the Driver Information Center will alert the driver.

The Tahoe is equipped with features that make pulling a trailer easy, from the 340 lb-ft of torque from the Vortec V8 engine. Standard hauling equipment includes a hatch platform, seven-wire harness, electric brake controller jumper harness, and two-inch receiver. The heavy duty trailering lets the 4X4 Tahoe pull weight up to 7700 pounds.
