Toronto—On the morning of May 20, more than 1,000 people gathered in Queen's Park, to support 22 million people withdrawing from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Many local Chinese people attended the gathering and quit the CCP using their real names.
Li Xiaobai, originally from Harbin City in China, said on the stage, "I myself do not practice Falun Gong. My aunt was persecuted for practicing Falun Gong when I was 17 years old. When the Public Security Bureau ransacked my aunt's home, they found a family picture. Only because I was in the picture, I received a summons twice from the police. In my hand is a copy of the summons."
"The CCP uses the most brutal implication policy to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. Today, I stand out and publicly quit the Communist Youth League (CYL) and the Communist Young Pioneers (CYP) using my real name." Li said.
Real Names—Not Aliases
A Toronto citizen, Sun Dali said, "I quit Communist Youth League (CYL) and Communist Young Pioneers (CYP) using my real name. Since using aliases or pseudonyms are as effective as real names, why do I use my real name? It's because I feel pleased using real name!"
"The CCP, the most reactionary party, is just a paper tiger. There are more than 22 million people who quit it, so it is less than a paper tiger now. It is like a broken lantern out of fuel swaying in the wind and will be extinguished at any time." Sun said, "I think it's time to use our real names to quit the CCP."

Sun pointed out that quitting the CCP using real names shows the standpoint: "I spurn you, the CCP. I am not afraid of you, the evil party."
"Twenty-five years ago, Chinese people dared not say a bad word against the CCP even in private. It's different now. There would be no consequence when people criticize the CCP in the public. It becomes a routine to scold the CCP when people drink alcohol at the table. Is it because the CCP becomes better? Of course not. It's because the CCP becomes weaker and weaker. It can no longer hoodwink the public. Thus, as you dare to scold the CCP, why don't you quit the CCP?"
Su Ming, who quit the CCP using his real name, told the reporter, "I quit the CCP using my real name because I have nothing to hide. The CCP expelled me from the party and wanted to arrest me because I advocated democracy 20 years ago. What am I afraid of?"
Su Ming pointed out that the CCP has had the regime of dictatorship for 57 years. It owes every family lives and money. Many people lost their jobs in China and many people's houses and lands are unreasonably robbed by the CCP.
Drawing a Clear Line
"We should draw a clear line between ourselves and the CCP in our thoughts." Su Ming said, "Liquidating the CCP's crimes is only a matter of time. So there should be no fear."
Hou Shen and Shi Qing from China also quit the CYL and CYP using their real names. They said, "We sincerely want to quit the CCP. It's so pleasing to quit using our real names."
