CHARLOTTE, NC–Holiday Wonders' premier performance in North Carolina drew sundry members of Charlotte's community to the Ovens Auditorium on December 19, 2007. College professor, pastor, and high school students were among those in attendance. Producers are expecting another successful performance tonight at the same time in the same place.

Professor Carlos Orozco teaches civil engineering technologies and mechanical engineering at the University of North Carolina Charlotte. He "liked everything. The costumes are wonderful. I went to China about a year ago and have seen some shows in China," but Holiday Wonders "is a lot better, well organized. Wonderful." Mr. Orozco loved that the emcees "speak perfect Chinese and perfect English," and they "do a wonderful job" transitioning between segments.

Mrs. Orozco "really loved, enjoyed everything, especially the one about the transformation of fate (the Fruits of Goodness) that was wonderful." She especially enjoyed "the content" of the show. The Orozco's pre-teen son, Dany, also liked the stories and costumes.

Hillary and Mary Overcash said "it's been really beautiful." They particularly relished "Lightness and Grace" fan dance and the "Drummers of the Tang Court." The Overcashs also commended the sixty-plus performers' synchronization.

Local high school students Mallory Jones and Megan Smith exclaimed "the dancing and outfits were really cool," and the often-times acrobatic jumps and choreography "were really together and very synchronized." Cultural-wise, Jones and Smith said "the whole shebang was right on." They enjoyed learning about the Chinese culture showcased in Holiday Wonders, such as the delicate headdress and special high heels sported by "Ladies of the Manchu Court."
