Family theater/entertainment is difficult to find, but right now, for a very short period of time, the DCA (Department of Cultural Affairs) is presenting a rocking one hour of pure family fun. Paul Miller (THE Pauly the Clown) emerged from his years of circus clowning and street performing to present a limited number of performances (at this time).

Pauly the Clown spins plates, juggles and balances ladders and even grocery carts. Some of what you see seems impossible and what you see is right up close with lots of audience participation. This is just fun: I got to see my granddaughter spin a plate on her finger and two on sticks—wow! For those of you who can't catch him this time, keep an eye out for him in the future or visit www.PaulytheClown.com.

Miller also has a group called CircEsteem, where he and other circus artists teach the art of circustry (if there is such a word) to kids. Their mission is to unite children of all races, cultures and economic backgrounds so they can build self esteem and respect through the practice of circus arts. www.circesteem.org
