For over a century, China has been yearning for democracy. Only under a democratic political system can China resolve the problems confronting it and save its future. Only democracy can break the vicious cycle in which Chinese people fear each other and kill each other. And only democracy can free the Chinese people from all the assassinations, revenges, massacres, and fear.
Every action of Attorney Gao Zhisheng brought China closer to the realization of democracy. For this I admire and support him with all my heart and I will always stand by his side. I'd be most happy to join with all democracy activists both within and outside China in order together to realize a democratic China.
The arrest of Attorney Gao is an attempt by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to suppress the imminent tide of democracy in mainland China. The recent persecution of Gao's wife and children is a trick by the CCP to distract international attention from me. The CCP has been trying to kidnap me and "march me back to China by force," as the CCP puts it. But I promise the CCP government will never get to me, because I am only following the will of heaven. I am doing something that many CCP members and Chinese people can only dream of and they will always be there to back me up.
Using violence and deception, the CCP seized power from the Republic of China 57 years ago. Over the past 57 years the CCP has used all the cruelest means to keep its Party members and the Chinese people under submission and to deprive them of all their rights. All the Chinese people hate the CCP and they will not be fooled again and yet again. The people are no longer afraid of the CCP, as their fear of tyranny is being purged. Evidence of this is the massive wave of resignations from the CCP, many using real names. The CCP is in fact alone and dying. So wake up, Chinese communist regime! It will not be long before the Chinese people rise up against you and fight for democracy and their legal rights. It's time for the CCP to choose to be either the next Mikhail Gorbachev or the next Nicolae Ceausescu.
Finally, a kind word of advice to those who work for the CCP's police, national security, and legal systems: Treat the prisoners of conscience and their families with kindness. Do not follow the CCP's orders to persecute them. Instead, try to secretly protect them and help them, and do what you can for the coming of democracy in China. I fully understand it's not easy to do so and I sincerely appreciate all your efforts.
I'd also advise you to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations by making a statement on the website of the "Global Service Center of Quitting the CCP", with either your real names or pseudonyms. Those who do so will be able to continue serving your country when a truly democratic new government, the Democratic United States of China, is established.
