October 1 is the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s "National Day" to celebrate its usurpation of power in China 57 years ago. But last year, the Global Service Center of Quitting the Chinese Communist Party named October 1 as China's "National Day of Mourning." On the second National Day of Mourning, when over 14 million Chinese people have announced their resignations from the CCP and its affiliated organizations, an Epoch Times reporter interviewed the director of the Service Center, Dr. Gao Dawei.
Dr. Gao said that circumstances have changed greatly since the last National Day of Mourning. In the past year, he said, more and more Chinese people have woken up to the truth, and the governments and people of many other countries have also started to condemn the CCP's evil crimes. Dr. Gao appealed to all Chinese people, including CCP officials and armies, to publicly condemn the CCP and quit the CCP so as to peacefully disintegrate the evil party.
The Spiritual Awakening in China
Dr. Gao said that the past year has witnessed the spiritual awakening in China which inspired over 14 million people to announce their resignation from the CCP and its affiliated organizations on the Tuidang (Quit the CCP) website despite the blockade and suppression of the CCP. Many Chinese people in mainland China have been spreading the news about the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and about the mass resignations from the CCP.
Various methods have been adopted to spread this information, including writing the message on paper money, putting up posters in the streets, and even TV broadcasting. Lately in Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province, Jiang Zemin's hometown, a TV program about the Nine Commentaries and the mass resignations was broadcast for a whole night.
Dr. Gao also pointed out that in major free nations many people, including many politicians, have read the Nine Commentaries. The book has revealed the evil nature of the CCP and the ongoing crimes it commits. More and more government leaders, officials and lawyers are standing up against the CCP's crimes, among whom are the Vice-Chairman of the European Parliament, a Canadian human rights lawyer, and a former Canadian Secretary of State, to name a few. The U.S. Congress has also showed its concern about the persecution and the violations of human rights in China.
High-Ranking Officials Are Quitting the CCP
Gao mentioned that this year many high-ranking CCP officials and soldiers have collectively resigned from the party, including people from the central government. Among the high officials and officers who called the Service Center to announce their resignations, some said that they had decided to quit the CCP after thorough consideration. Some said that after over a year's observation and comparison, and after reading the Nine Commentaries many times, they had concluded that the CCP was beyond any hope.
According to Gao, a few days ago the Service Center received a phone call from a research center of the CCP central government. After some discussion, six officials from that research center decided to quit the CCP together using their real names. The officials said that they could no longer tolerate the CCP's persecution of human rights activists and other good people.
Powerful People Hold a Wait-and-See Attitude
Gao also told the reporter that some people, mainly powerful people in society, are still holding a wait-and-see attitude. They are either afraid to lose personal interests, or unaware of the CCP's persecution of Chinese people. Gao took a Guangdong Province Custom official as an example. The official called the Service Center and said that the CCP had persecuted every family member of his parents' generation. He said that he had read the Nine Commentaries several times, but he was reluctant to go against the CCP as he enjoyed his current life. He said he was "perplexed."
To these people, Dr. Gao said that the CCP's reforms are only loosening its harness on the economy, and that the resulting economic growth is not the CCP's achievement. Gao said he would like to ask the customs official to take a look at the lives of other Guangdong people, such as the peasants who have lost their lands, the unemployed workers, and the homeless people who were forcibly evicted from their homes.
Talking to People Inside the CCP
Dr. Gao appealed to all Chinese people, including CCP officials and soldiers, to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations as soon as possible, and escape from the control of the evil party. He called for a return to China's traditional moralities, beliefs and the divine culture.
He particularly addressed those high CCP officials who still have some conscience in them, advising them to separate themselves from the CCP so that they don't have to suffer for the CCP's crimes. Gao wished the officials to realize that the CCP's collapse is inevitable.
Soldiers and Civilians Condemn the CCP Publicly
According to Gao, some people from the Chinese army called the Service Center and said they would resist the CCP's persecution with force, and would overthrow the CCP regime.
Gao's response to such comments is that the best way is to spread the Nine Commentaries and to quit the CCP. He said in this way people will peacefully disintegrate the CCP at the lowest cost.
Another suggestion Gao gave is that Chinese people, after so many years' suffering under the CCP's persecution, should get together and publicly reveal and condemn the CCP's crimes. Such gatherings, said Gao, will strengthen the power of justice.
Gao emphasized that if Chinese people could unite their forces in condemning the CCP and revealing its crimes, no one would need to fear the CCP any more. In this way people would be able to protect themselves from the CCP's persecution, and accelerate the disintegration of the communist regime.
