As a result of the spread of The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, people from all professions have been quitting from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. Information recently received from Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Nanchang, Wuhan, Shengyang, Changsha, Chengdu and other cities, indicates that withdrawal statements have even appeared on Chinese currency. Short slogans extolling the Nine Commentaries, Falun Gong and bringing ex-dictator Jiang Zemin to justice have also been seen on some of the currency.
One resident from Chengdu told an Epoch Times reporter, “This is not news any more. I noticed a person doing this many months ago. I said to him that it is illegal to write on the currency and he replied, “What it is really illegal is the CCP; they are the true criminals. The money belongs to the people. Other people quit the CCP via the Internet but I have no Internet access. Someone told me that making a withdrawal statement on the currency is also valid, so I did it. I do not want to die along with the CCP. I have written the statement on various bills, from the one-yuan bill to the 100-yuan bill, and I have done this every day when I have time. I spend all the money for shopping or taking public buses. I want everyone to see it. The money belongs to people and circulates among people.” This resident also said, “When we get change while shopping in the stores, statements such as ‘Read the Nine Commentaries, quit the CCP quickly for self-salvation and to ensure peace and safety’ were written on the bills. Many people have seen and used these bills.”
One resident from Wuhan, who had also seen this sort of thing said, “I saw a person who went to a bank to ask whether a bill with this kind of statement is still valid. I also saw something like “Break from the evil Party” on the left bottom corner of a 100-yuan bill written in very small characters with a pen. Someone said that it is absolutely wonderful! It can’t be trashed because it is on the money.”
A resident from Beijing said that when he was on a bus, he heard a ticket-taker saying that she had recently found statements about The Nine Commentaries, quitting the CCP, or the Global Coalition to Bring Jiang Zemin to Justice on the money from her ticket-vending machines. She said, “How can I use this money then?” The driver then said, “This was a “counterrevolutionary” slogan during the Cultural Revolution. Who came up this idea? I wonder whether Hu Jintao knows about it or not. People are no longer united with him. That bill is not fake, and therefore the statements are serious.”
An Internet friend said that someone had posted a way to quit from the CCP on an Internet forum, simply by writing the withdrawal statement on the bills.
So it seems this news is not rumor or hearsay and that people in China are all taking the initiative to quit the Party. People are quitting the CCP via Internet if they have computer, or they write the statements on a public facility. Now they are even making their statements on the RMB bill!
