Since The Epoch Times published its editorial series commonly referred to as the Nine Commentaries, five million people have publicly resigned from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and the Communist Youth League (CYL).

Forums about the Nine Commentaries have been held major cities around the world. Westerners from all walks of life are invited to attend and see the real face of the CCP.

The speaker from Amnesty International said, "Because the judiciary is not independent within the CCP system, it has become the CCP’s tool for persecution. The CCP uses it widely to torture those who have spiritual beliefs, to force them to renounce their beliefs, and to swear loyalty to the CCP. This is equivalent to crucifying people’s basic rights and to systematically persecuting people both spiritually and physically. We have often seen Chinese constitutional changes, reforms, etc. However, they were only pretenses, just like facial make-up that is washed off in the rain."

The CCP Imprisons Young Tibetan Children

The chairman of the Association of Home of Tibet, himself a victim of the CCP’s persecution, told the audience that the CCP has thoroughly destroyed Tibet's culture and has forced atheism on the holy land of Tibet. He said that while carrying on the so-called Communist Reeducation, the CCP does not hesitate to send a five-year-old child to prison for as long as ten years.

The chairman added that giving the Nine Commentaries to people who have been deceived by the CCP enables them to recognize the true nature of the CCP.

Chinese Premier Hu’s European Visit and the Fall of the Berlin Wall

Epoch Times Editor Dr. Yang Lixin was the last speaker of the forum. He said that Chinese Premier Hu’s European visit coincided with the 16th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall and that this is not just a simple coincidence.

He said the CCP regime was founded on violence and lies and relies on these measures to maintain its political power. Since the CCP was founded, every massacre conducted has been for the purpose of maintaining its political power. In its 49 years of rule, a total of 80 million innocent people have been killed in various CCP political campaigns.

Given such atrocities, resigning from the CCP is the first step towards reclaiming one’s conscience.

Quoting Chen Yonglin, a diplomat who defected from the Chinese embassy in Australia, Dr. Yang said, “The CCP is like a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Western governments have been feeding this wolf with economic trade.”
