Who could guess that one small book would frighten one of the world’s largest police states.

Professional dancer and Australian citizen, Xue Jun Wang, found out first hand when he was deported back to Australia from China when he was caught in possession of “the book”.

“I never thought they would kick me out just by bring[ing] these two books,” said Mr. Wang. He was arrested by Chinese security officials on Thursday October 5 while rehearsing with the Sydney Dance Company for Graeme Murphy’s Mulan in the Chinese city of Shanghai.

“The book” – Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, is a special publication by The Epoch Times that unravels the history of China’s current regime; which it says is filled with persecution, torture and murder of its own people.

In front of representatives from the media the Nine Commentaries was launched at the Eat City restaurant in Sydney on Thursday October 13 with defectors Mr. Chen Yonglin and Mr. Hao Fengjun on hand to show support. Mr. Chen, the former first secretary of the Chinese Consulate-General in Sydney, gave an account about the substance of this special report.

“The history of the Communist party is a blood history, is history of a killing that you can read in Nine Commentaries,” Mr. Chen said.

“[Since the] Nine Commentaries came out last year, the Chinese Communist Party has taken all measures to blockade [its] spread.”

Mr. Wang’s case of abuse at the hands of Chinese security police is one that is being played out in China everyday.

Mr. Hao Fengjun, formerly of the 610 office (Chinese Gestapo) can account for this.

The defector brought with him an MP3 player full of the activities of his former office in February this year. When translated, part of the secret information revealed the orders for Tianjin City security officials to find and stop the spread of the Nine Commentaries.

“The Chinese authority is a total terror regime, that does not want to hear any voice that is different to theirs,” Mr. Hao said through a translator at the press conference.

Since the Nine Commentaries were distributed by its worldwide press service and its websites, five million Chinese have resigned from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), mainly on a website which is dedicated to the task.

“The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party is not just a book, it’s a campaign, a campaign to quit the CCP,” Mr. Chen remarked.
