A memorial service for former General Secretary Zhao Ziyang is reported to be held on Jan. 29. An Epoch Times reporter just contacted a staff member of “Zhao Ziyang’s Funeral Service Committee” at 86-10-65136600 in Beijing. The committee is distributing invitations to Zhao’s funeral at the conference center on the eighth floor of Jingtai Hotel, Xicheng District, 29 Di’anmen West Street in Beijing (86-10-1063096283). People who had left their addresses and telephone numbers when they went to Zhao’s residence to offer condolences are being informed. The distribution time of the invitation tickets is from noon to 5 p.m. Jan. 27 for the service at 9 a.m. on Jan. 29.

An Epoch Times reporter in Beijing spoke with someone who had already picked up his ticket. He said, “Everyone’s name is stored in a computer. When you give your name to the staff, your information shows up on the computer. Everyone who registered in Fuqiang Street (to visit the family at Zhao’s official residence) is assigned a number. Many people went there to pick up their tickets.”
