Quitting the Chinese Communist Party

What has the Beijing Olympics brought me? I have not found any job related to my field since graduating from university and have had to live on growing vegetables at home. However, in July, the Communist Party ordered city administration personnel to keep an eye on us as the Olympic Games were approaching. We were not allowed to set up vegetable stands. The cucumbers began to wither. The persimmons (a Chinese fruit) were over-ripe and broke even if one touched them slightly with a finger. In the end, the cucumbers were too withered to sell, and they had to be used as seeds.

What we should have made from selling seasonal vegetables has been taken away by the Communist-sponsored Olympic Games. When I was in misery and anxiety, an elderly sister who also sells vegetables told me about the campaign of withdrawing from the Communist Party and its affiliated organizations. I had been a member of its Youth League and Young Pioneers. I agree to withdraw from this organization which hurts people, and will no longer be affiliated with it in any way.
